Biking by train

It's never been easier to take your bike on the Pinzgauer Lokalbahn line

The Pinzgauer Lokalbahn is a perfect companion for all cyclists. During biking season from May until October, they offer convenient, hassle-free bike transportation on trips all the way to Krimml.

Please note: A rail replacement service with buses has been set up between Niedernsill and Krimml.

• Reservations required no later than 2 PM of the day before.
• Remove the electronic display on your e-bike.
• Luggage carriers must also be removed beforehand.

We ask passengers to assist our train attendants with loading and unloading their bicycles.

The Christmas steam train from Zell am See to Niedernsill on 24 December is a special experience for big and small.

• Kids are travelling free.
• Tickets are available from the conductor as well as the Customer Center in Mittersill.
